As i start to prepare myself and gear to leave Little Cayman after almost 10 years im trying to put into words my experiences here, but i think the cliché “A picture is worth a thousand words” fits pretty well for this post. So here are a “few” of my shots from my time on this little island in the western Caribbean.Flyfishing Jeremy_1fishflats031  Bugs8_Jan26_2004cactiagaveAgave and Cactus growing on the west end of LC. Then in 2007 Little Cayman Beach Resort let me build a new fishing program for them and with a few skiffs and the addition of Reel JEM, Little Cayman Sport Fishing was born.P3281767 Sail landed on Reel JEM rstr double hoo 2matt wahoo 2marlinjeremy_andy My first Blue as captain!

So as the sun sets on my time here I am grateful for all the new friends and fisherman i have had the pleasure to spend some time on and off the water with on this little rock. When i left Tampa in 2003 i was hoping to learn some new fishing techniques and wow, was this place to get overwhelmed and humbled. Looking back i know it was the right decision. Thanks LC.

  1. I’m headed to Little Cayman Beach Resort in October (2016) for a scuba diving and fishing trip. According to the resort there will be no guides available on the island at that time. I wondered if you might possibly provide a few pointers for this DIY bonefisher specific to the Little Cayman fishery?
