As i start to prepare myself and gear to leave Little Cayman after almost 10 years im trying to put into words my experiences here, but i think the cliché “A picture is worth a thousand words” fits pretty well for this post. So here are a “few” of my shots from my time on this little island in the western Caribbean.
Little Cayman Island
Redfish Love Pink
The weather man was calling for low winds, but cloudy skies, so my buddy Ramiro and I made the two hour trek down to Everglades National Park. Only to be greeted by strong 20mph winds, so we headed for cover in disgust by the once again wrong forecast. The wind blew all morning, we kept at it and it paid […]
Moonlight Special
Finally, after weeks of excessive winds, the weather man said we’d have great conditions. It was calling for two to five knots, but I knew it would be too good to be true. I figured I’d settle for 10 to 15 knots, since all we seem to have had the past month and a half is 15 to 30 knot […]
Kayak Concerto: Fly Fishing South Florida on the Kayak
Here’s what i’ve been working on lately. Join me on this Kayak quest through out the coastal waters of South Florida. Watch as I chase a complete cast of characters that we all love with a fly rod. The thrill of sight casting a trophy is what I live for. Thanks for watching I hope you enjoy it.
Games of Chance. Games of Sport.
Some time ago, and with varying degrees of reluctance, I gave up the luxury of “let’s go fishing”. Capitalizing on bluebird days, nonexistent wind, perfect tides, a hot bite, or even being within 800 miles of a redfish with little or no notice is a thing of my past and currently an impossibility. Now my fishing days are few and […]

Easy Livin
The weather last week was perfect. Warm temps and blue skies, hard to ask for anything more. The caliber of the anglers on my boat and great fishing was just a bonus.
Drum and Bass
I feel as if the past two months, it has been endless days of sustained winds of over 20knts. It has made it tough, but sometimes you just got to tough it out and do some fishing. Going out to Flamingo when it’s blowing 30mph is always an adventure. Especially when you decide to run 30+ miles through open water, […]
Peacock Fishing
This week I focused on some peacock fishing. The weather has been pretty hot and the fish have been biting. I’ve been fishing with my friend Danny most of the time and Warren made an appearance this saturday. Most of the fish have been pretty nice size. When I went out saturday morning I saw a huge peacock laid up. […]
Fire!
Six years ago I left south Florida, where my angling heart will forever lie, for New York City. I took a job with one of the preeminent seafood wholesalers in NYC, to run their twenty-five seat oyster bar and grill in Murray Hill, feeling at the time that if I was no longer able to launch odd and colorfully adorned, […]
