This week I focused on some peacock fishing. The weather has been pretty hot and the fish have been biting. I’ve been fishing with my friend Danny most of the time and Warren made an appearance this saturday. Most of the fish have been pretty nice size. When I went out saturday morning I saw a huge peacock laid up. I was able to make a cast and the peacock made couple of swipes at the fly before taking off. By noon we headed to Chipotle for the Burrito Pro Team ritual. I told Warren I wanted to go back and catch that peacock I had seen earlier. Sure enough we headed back to the spot and there he was. I approached the bank really stealthy. I made the cast and was able to hook up that monster pea. Unfortunately he spit out the hook 30 seconds into the fight. I was heart broken after I lost that fish. One of these days I will go back and catch that fish!!! Anyways I hope you enjoy the report and pics!!
