On our way back home from Tampa, we decided to stop at Bass Pro in Ft. Myers. I had the bright idea to call up the homie Kyle “Big Snook” Petrick to see if we can get in on some fish. He mentioned the night tide would be great for snook. So Mario and I decided to stick around town and met up with Kyle at sundown. We were off to the grounds and put a whoopin’ on some snook on fly. When Petrick told me we’d be wading at night, by docks, to cast at snook, I thought he was nuts. But it sure was fun! I couldn’t keep count of how many snook were caught. Sight casting snook on dock lights with a fly rod sure was fun. Even pulled out a trout off one.
