I finally got back on the water for the first time in over two weeks. I had good buddy Captain Derek Rust onboard today. He scored this beautiful bonefish on the first cast of the morning….it all went down in perfect fashion. Next spot I got a good shot at a permit following a ray, but the permit was absolutely disgusted by my offering. We cut the day short due to high water and no sun and decided a nice lunch was in order. I had the go pro rolling and I am in the process of gathering footage for the my summer video…stay tuned.
