Got the tag info back on the bonefish #23869! It was initially tagged by Capt. Jorge Valverde 658 days prior! The fish was 19″ and 4# originally. When I caught the fish it had grown 6.5″ and it was 8.8 miles from where Capt. Valverde caught it. The 6.5″ fit the growth curve and with 658 days it was one of the longest gaps between captures they have had! Hopefully the fish gets caught again one day…he will be awfully smart though.
