Since it’s been pretty windy these last couple of the days and it seems like we are going to have a horrible winter. Hopefully these winds calm down again so I can take out the paddle boards. Lately most of my fishing has been bank hopping for peacocks afterwork and some night tarpon fishing on foot. I decided to go out with kent like 5 nights ago to look for tarpon. We had some luck and got one to the boat after jumping another 3.
About 2 weeks ago I headed to Flamingo for the first time since the Shutdown. I headed out with Pk on the Diablos. The weather looked great, there was no way I was gonna pass up the opportunity. We had some great weather that morning til about noon. We hooked up on plenty of tarpon but couldn’t keep the flies in their mouth. We spent the morning on the tarpon and the afternoon targeting reds. I was so excited to be back in the park.
