The 12th Annual SWC Charity Christmas Bash came to close in the wee hours of December 14th with tons of donations collected and lots of amazing prizes going home with some very lucky winners!

We’re so incredibly thankful to all of the attendees that came out, in the spirit of giving, bringing non-perishable food for the Homeless Empowerment Program, pet supplies for Suncoast Animal League, and toys for the Shriner’s Children’s Holiday Party. Your contributions to this event are what keep us motivated each year to bring bigger and better prizes.

This year the raffle ticket sales went to Krissy Wejebe of the Spanish Fly Memorial Foundation. Krissy and her husband made it their mission to give back to the community. Helping make adventures on the water come to fruition via Make a Wish Foundation, the Outdoor Dream Foundation, the VA Hospital of Miami, and Wesley House. In addition, to their efforts post Hurricane Irma in cleaning up debris with coordinated volunteer group efforts. When we learned our friend Krissy’s husband Captain David Moloney had suddenly and tragically passed we knew we wanted to help in any way we could.

For the 2nd year in a row, Blur located in the heart of Dunedin, FL was selected at the party venue. Their entire team was so helpful and fun to work with. We couldn’t be more thankful to have their support in not only allowing us to use the venue but, also for donating the space while sponsoring the night’s entertainment our talented friends The New Rulers.

Our friend Paul Gionis and his firm Gionis & Lilly PLLC, based in Dunedin, contacted us immediately after hearing the event dates announced wanting to contribute all of the food by providing a huge low country boil with all the best ingredients. We were thrilled to have Paul & his team come aboard as he has been a personal long-time friend and avid support of SWC since the very beginning.

Live Watersports joined as the Title Sponsor this year donating a L2Fish SUP for one very lucky Grand Prize winner!
