Last weekend I was invited the fish the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office charity slam fishing tournament benefitting the Judeo Christian Health Clinic. I along with some employees of Mercedes Benz were teamed up with Alex Silva and Manny Novo of http://blackjackcharterstampa.com.
First hole Alex puts us on produced some quality reds.
After our Redfish spot we hit the grass flats for some trout. Unfortunately we were running low on time to catch our slam. So instead of taking pictures of our 8 or 9 trout I was busy catching them.

Our last go to was a little hidden snook spot Alex had in his back pocket. Sure enough after 5 minutes I was hooked up on a snook to complete our slam.
We headed back to the yacht club for the weigh in with a slam total of 70″.
Although our slam fell short of first place, we did have a great time on the water. HCSO puts on a great tournament for a great cause. Looking forward to fishing it again next year.
