Woke up this morning with no intentions of doing anything, since I was Djing late last night. I went to have breakfast and ran into my mom in the kitchen. She asked me if I wanted to go to the zoo with my nephew because we didn’t do anything for my birthday this week. I got dressed, grabbed the camera and rushed out the door. I was so excited, I haven’t been to the zoo in couple of years. As I was making my way to the entrance I called up my cousin Roger and his girlfriend Gemary, to see if maybe they wanted to join this excursion. They gladly accepted, due to the fact that they were only a 5 minute drive away from the zoo. As soon as we walked into the zoo, I went crazy snapping pics at all these wonderful animals you don’t get to see everyday. I fell in love with amount of birds and aviary friends that haunt the zoo grounds. Some of the colors that these birds have are amazing, the pics won’t do them justice. I apologize for the amount of pics in this post, but I couldn’t help myself but to snap pics all day. I hope you guys like them. (All pics of me were taken by Gemary or Roger).
It seems once we got to the zoo, most of the animals and birds alike, were not really active at all.
My mom always wants the cheesy pics but I can’t never argue
I love to see my Family having fun, look at my nephew’s face, he is having a blast.
Roger instagraming the Giraffe
Sleepy Tiger early in the day.
Another lazy animal but I love Koalas.
Tina come get your food.
I must say, my favorite part of the Zoo was seeing the birds. The colors of the feathers are unreal. The whole time I was like man this thing right here would make some great Fly Tying material.
These little guys were awesome. They were just chilling along the wall.
I LIKE TO MOVE IT, MOVE IT…….
The abundance of exotic plant life was just short of spectacular. These bamboo trees were all over the place.
Kevin making friends all over the place.
My mom is a clown, she got Kevin doing all the work.
As the day progressed more of the animals that we had passed earlier were now awake and roaming all over the place.
HUMP DAYYYYYYYYYYYYY…..
All I can say is WOW!!!!
We went to eat at one of the grills in the Zoo. As we ate Kevin made some friends and they started scaring all the Ibis that were around trying to grab an easy meal.
This dude right here wanted a picture taken.
THE END….
…..Once again I apologize for the amount of pics, Until next time, stay classy Miami…
